This week, your Dev Leads want to emphasize an important reminder regarding successful image selection: high-quality, visually appealing, and relevant images are key to engaging users and driving leads for our clients! As you pick visuals for your builds, keep this rule of thumb in mind:
- Highlight the result, not the process: Choose images that showcase a clean, pristine outcome.
- KEEP VISUAL ASSETS APPEALING: On a pest control site, for instance, avoid bug close-ups that might turn users away. Go for clean, comfortable homes and smiling clients instead.

Smooth Slow Motion:
Using After Effects
- Time Stretch: Right-click your footage layer, select Time > Time Stretch, and set the Stretch Factor to 200% to double its duration. (Make sure to mute your video)
- Frame Blending & Pixel Motion: Right-click the layer, go to Frame Blending, and select Pixel Motion to generate smooth optical-flow intermediate frames for high-framerate (30–60fps) footage.
