➞ A REMINDER TO USE THE SOCIAL MEDIA INFO. FIELDS IN BITRIX:

We are constantly striving to better organize the Project Notes area in Bitrix and we are open to your suggestions if you have any! If you haven't noticed previously, there are fields in the Project Notes for adding (or moving) Social Media Links, Accounts, and Credentials. While you won't have access to the latter, remembering to add links to the client's existing (if any) accounts not only helps ensure you've done your research but also makes that information more easily accessible for all.

➞ PARTICIPATE IN THE WEB DEVELOPMENT TEAM'S SECOND QUARTERLY SURVEY:

In preparation for our second Quarterly Presentation, your Dev Leads have created a survey to gather your thoughts and feedback. We encourage you to actively participate and share your feedback, enabling us to continuously enhance our processes. Once we collect enough data, we will analyze and share the results, so stay tuned!

There are UX best practices that users have come to expect when visiting a website, a major one being a logo that is linked back to the home page. Such functionality is a standard on most, if not all, modern websites and something that needs to be integrated into your sites that you build here at Simple. Watch the quick tutorial video below to learn how to do this simple, UX-improving step:

Keep it Local

...................................LOCATION Match..............................................................................lOCATION Clash

Choosing Images That Match Your Business’s Geographic Area:

  • Look for Local Touches: Pick images with landmarks, buildings, or scenery that feel like they belong in the location.
  • Capture the Local Demographic: Use photos with people and settings that reflect the local vibe and community.
  • Check for Odd Signs: Watch for non-native plants, buildings, signs, or cars that don’t match the area.

WHY GOOD FONT PAIRINGS ARE IMPORTANT

Good font combinations are essential for clear (easy-to-read) communication and creating a strong visual impact. The right pairings help establish hierarchy, guide the reader’s eye, and set the tone for your design.

TIP OF THE WEEK: Try pairing fonts with contrasting styles or weights to create balance and highlight key information without overwhelming your design.

Using fonts that complement each other makes your content easier to read and more engaging, whether it’s for a logo, presentation, or any other project. Below are some examples that inspire your own effective font pairings:

Help Elfsight Find the Right Google Business for Reviews

Sometimes Elfsight can’t find your client’s Google Business when setting up the reviews widget.

This can happen if:

  • The business has more than one Google listing
  • The name is too common (like “Elite Cleaning”)
  • Other issues like inconsistent addresses, recent listing setup, incorrect categories, etc.

Here’s a quick fix:

  1. Go to Google Maps
  2. Search for the client’s business
  3. Click the “Share” button
  4. Copy the short link
  5. Paste that link into Elfsight under Manual Location Link

Watch the step-by-step video tutorial below to see how it’s done:

This helps Elfsight pull reviews from the correct listing, even if its built-in search doesn’t work.
