Important Announcements of the Week:

➞ BROADER LOCATION TARGETING: USING THE BEST TERMS ON YOUR WEBSITE'S HOMEPAGE

When updating your website’s metadata, it’s fine to use the main target location found in the Bitrix Project Notes in the SEO Title and FAQ Links. However, for the homepage, consider expanding the service area. If the business is in a small town or suburb, broadening the target area to include the surrounding county or nearby metropolitan area can boost visibility and attract a larger audience. A quick Google search can help identify the best areas to target. This approach is more beneficial to your client and improves site visibility. For example:

White "X" symbol inside a black circle.

"RELIABLE HANDYMAN SERVICES IN THE KNIGHTDALE AREA"

White checkmark in a black circle, indicating completion or approval.

"RELIABLE HANDYMAN SERVICES IN WAKE COUNTY, NC."

➞ USING THE IMAGE DATABASE MORE EFFECTIVELY

There’s a simple way to find high-quality, pre-approved stock images faster and more efficiently.

When using the Image Database search tool, don’t limit yourself to just one basic keyword. The system works best when you try different variations and related phrases.

For example, instead of only searching “truck,” try expanding your search with terms like:

  • Trailer
  • Truck on highway
  • Transportation company
  • Logistics  .... and so on!

Sometimes the image you’re looking for is
labeled differently than you expect. Trying multiple keywords or descriptive phrases will help you find better results.

If your search still doesn’t give you what you need, it may mean that category needs to be expanded. If you notice gaps in coverage, please reach out to a Dev Lead so we can improve the database.
