Important Announcements of the Week:

➞ REMINDER ABOUT WEBSITE SUBMISSION TIMELINE AND PRE-CHECK PROCESS

One of the first things a developer should note when receiving a new project is the due date, or "Promise Date," along with any indications that the site needs to be rushed (usually specified in the project title). This date represents when the client expects to see the completed site. Delays can lead to clients threatening cancellations or leaving negative reviews about our company as a whole.

To avoid this, the best course of action is to submit your site at least 2-3 days before the Promise Date. This gives your Dev Leads sufficient time to review the site and for you to make any necessary corrections, which will then require further review. This timeline also accounts for Pre-Checks (for doubles), which involve additional QC steps and require more back-and-forth.

Additionally, Dev Leads prioritize sites based on their Promise Date, so organizing your projects by deadline not only helps streamline the process but also speeds up the approval of your work.

*** If you need clarification or assistance with any of the above announcements, feel free to reach out to your Dev Leads. ***

TIP OF THE WEEK: USING THE AI CONTENT CREATOR EFFECTIVELY

When using the AI Content Creator, the key is to provide accurate and relevant business information.

The quality of the input directly affects the quality of the content the AI generates.

Below you will find the best places to gather that information and how to use it properly:

Where to find company information:

1. Google Search
Search the business
name and location (or phone number, or address) on Google. In many cases, you will find a company overview on the right side of the results page. This often includes a short description, services, social media links, legacy site links, and other helpful details that can be used in the content creator field.

2. Social Media
Check the business’s social media profiles, such as
Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. The bio section usually contains a short summary of the business. You can also find useful details in post captions or even image descriptions. This is also where reviews can sometimes be hiding.

3. Legacy Website
If the client has a
legacy (or existing) website, this content should be prioritized and fed into the Content Creator. Look for content in the About section, service pages, or mission statements. This information can be summarized if needed (ChatGPT is great at this) and added to the Content Creator field in Bitrix.

How to use the Content Creator field (BITRIX):

  • You do not need to copy and paste the ENTIRE contents of a legacy site. Your input should not be excessively long. A ChatGPT-generated summary or overview of the business and the particular services they provide is enough.

  • Focus on the core details, including any "Mission/Vision" info, biographical info, founding/established dates, and other content that is unique to that individual client.

Using these sources helps ensure we curate content that is accurate, relevant, professional, and aligned with the client’s business, while also saving time during the building process.
