More About Sophie

Sophie earned a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design-Hong Kong in 2016. Following graduation, Sophie continued to live abroad, working as a visual art teacher for Color My World Visual and Performing Arts Studio. Her passion for the arts took her to Los Angeles, where she worked as an assistant gallery director for Industry Gallery at The Pacific Design Center, a visitor services associate at the Broad Museum, and then a curator and booking agent for a local arts organization until March 2020.

Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sophie relocated to North Carolina and founded her own e-commerce business; Lilac Light, an ethically sourced crystal shop. Sophie operated Lilac Light full-time before finding a home here at Simple.biz in December 2022.
